At the Edinburgh University Polo Club, we welcome everyone from experienced polo players to complete polo beginners. We play at Edinburgh Polo Club, Dalmahoy (see map), with our HPA coach James Douglas, 25 minutes from Edinburgh.

Lessons run regularly throughout the week. Practice chukkas are also available to more experienced players on Tuesdays and Fridays, with the opportunity for all members to work towards this during their time with us.

Throughout the year we participate in Scottish Student Sports Polo, SUPA Nationals, beach polo and varsity matches to name but a few! We have team trials at the start of the semester to create our wider training squads, so that our players know what matches they will be fielded for and so they can grow and train as a team.

Socials happen regularly throughout the semester, with special events such as Welcome drinks, Christmas Dinner and of course The Polo Ball, providing memorable occasions for all members to revel in our love for polo.
