Membership

Playing membership is required to take part in polo lessons and chukkas, as well as play in any matches through EUPC. For new members we offer a 'taster lesson' with membership being required to book future lessons, cut-off point end of October. Social membership invites you to join all EUPC social events, watch chukkas and be part of the club without playing polo.

Prices

Full playing membership: £65

Full playing membership - non-student: £75 

Social membership (student and non-student): £20 

Semester only playing membership: £48 

Semester only playing membership - non-student: £55

Membership can be purchased via the UoE Sports Union website.

Lessons:

Make sure you join our facebook group (Edinburgh University Polo Club) where sign up sheets will be posted each week. Lessons during the week structured for different ability lessons, as advertised on the sign up sheet. The same goes for chukka sessions, which are invitational for those deemed of a safe enough standard. 

​

Lessons are £45 for 2 hours, split between training on the wooden horse and playing in the arena or on the grass. You must be a member of EUPC to be able to attend university lessons.

 

You will pay for your lesson directly at the yard; if you cannot make a lesson for a legitimate reason, you should contact the facebook group to alert the free space. If you miss a lesson with limited cancellation time or with no warning, you may still be charged
